Attorney Profile: Stephanie Bilinski
Stephanie received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Bryn Mawr College in 1998 and a Juris Doctor cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2001. While in law school, Stephanie won the Chancellor and Centennial Scholarships and was the Director of the Student Tutorial Program.
Stephanie has long dedicated herself to assisting children and families through difficult times. During law school, Stephanie interned in the sex crimes and felonies divisions of the Office of the Bergen County Prosecutor, where she worked with children crime victims. She then worked with the Seton Hall Center for Social Justice, representing children and low-income adults in all areas of family law.
Stephanie has been involved with numerous children’s organizations since she was a teenager and worked as a volunteer with at-risk teenagers in Philadelphia. She currently volunteers as an advocate for children in the foster care system.
Since relocating to the Bay Area in 2001, Stephanie has practiced exclusively in the area of family law. She began her career as a law clerk with Hoover and Bechtel of San Jose, California and then became an associate attorney with the Law Offices of Dennis Del Ponte, also of San Jose, California. She moved to San Francisco as an attorney with Hersh FamilyLaw Practice in 2007.
In the summer of 2009, Stephanie opened her own practice that emphasizes alternate dispute resolution and the rights of children in family law matters.
